I’ve seen this go for $395. Most stores are selling it as we speak for $325 and up. But one seller has a brand new one on Ebay for ony $279. That’s a damn bargain for this beautifulGladiator movie sword replica. The link you need to get it is below:

GLADIATOR Sword of General Maximus Prop Replica

Epic Weapons produced a limited run of their World of Warcraft Frostmourne sword prop replica. I don’t know exactly how many made it into that limited run, but the rumor is there are only 400 in the world. Either way, these are not that easy to find. At least, not normally.

Right now there are two BRAND NEW versions of these up for grabs on Ebay. The prices vary depending on whether or not the sword is in brand new condition, with the best of them advertised at the highest price:

All are the products of Epic Weapons’ high quality craftsmanship, the specifications of which are:

  • Limited edition World of Warcraft sword
  • The sword measures approx. 47″ inches long and 12″ inches wide at the widest point of the handle.
  • The wall mount collector’s display plaque is 22″ inches tall, 12″ inches wide, and 3/4″ thick.
  • Weights 16 pounds (the sword alone)
  • The blade is made of 420J2 Japanese milled stainless steel (unsharpened, not for real use)
  • Other sword parts are made of cast metal
  • The handle is is gripped with genuine leather wrap and is embedded with an RFID (G2G authenticity microchip) which holds information needed to authenticate the sword is genuine Epic Weapons manufactured using a Game 2 Gear reader that comes with the sword. RFID’s last a lifetime.
  • Certificate of Authenticity (note, some of the sellers don’t have this!)

Here are the links you need to check out the three that are available (in best price order):

Limited Edition WORLD OF WARCRAFT Frostmourne Sword Prop Replica (Buy It Now via Ebay, $1,500)

If you find versions of these swords cheaper than this, I suggest being careful. There are replica knock-off’s floating around. I’ve also seen this sword advertised on Ebay as “new” when in fact it was used. The links above are the only two that seem to be legitimately new.

This is Hasbro’s latest STAR WARS Force FX Lightsaber Prop Replica based on Anakin Skywalker’s (Hayden Christensen) blue lightsaber from the Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

It features durable die-cast metal parts and is built sturdy enough to give it an authentic feel.

The blade is blue, just like in the movie, achieved via a polycarbonate blade that is permanently attached to the hilt.

Also features realistic power-up and power-down glowing light effects.

Anakin’s Force FX Lightsaber also includes a digitally recorded and motion-sensor-controlled authentic sound effects such as power-up, power-down, idle, movement sounds, and clash sounds. That’s pretty cool, although batteries aren’t included, which isn’t cool. But it’s a small price to pay!

Hasbro advertise each lightsaber as being a fully functioning replica featuring all the lights, sounds, and heft of the actual weapon. I don’t know about “fully functioning”, since it’s not, well, an actual sword laser. That and if you want something to have a real lightsaber fight with I don’t recommend this. It will work for some light bashing, but that’s about it. Nonetheless, we’ll look past that because those don’t really exist. Just sayin.

In any case, this is an awesome lightsaber replica recommended for any avid Star Wars fan.

As a footnote, the hilt on this one is black. I notice in all the promo images for this there’s a box in which the hilt is silver. I believe that relates to the removable blade version. So yes, the box in the images promoting this product is misleading because this one has a permanently attached blade and the hilt is black.

You can get this at a great discount on Amazon right now (33% off!) at the link below:

The second cheapest of these I can find is via Entertainment Earth at the link below:

Some of these go over $200 from different sources, so those two links above are awesome deals.

Though you may be content with grabbing Noble Collection’s Sting Sword prop replica based on Peter Jackson’s new The Hobbit trilogy, there’s still another great Sting Sword prop replica to consider.

It’s Noble Collections Sword of Frodo (Collector’s Edition).

This is a super-high quality Sting Sword Prop replica that is a full sized sword that measures over 27 inches in length.

The handle is in bas relief and is hand enameled.

Comes complete with an official, “The Lord of the Rings” plaque (measuring 37 inches) and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from New Line Cinema.

You won’t find this anywhere other than the Noble Collection, since it was crafted by master sword makers in Toledo, Spain exclusively for them. So it is official and harder to find than many Sting Sword Prop Replicas.

Here’s the link you need to go get one for yourself:

Now this is going to look sweet in my collection. I really have to have this.

It’s the officially licensed Orcrist Sword Prop Replica by Noble Collection, based on the sword wielded in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey by Thorin Oakenshield, the leader of the dwarves.

This magical Elvin sword, whose name means “Orkspalter”, is the sister sword of Gandalf the Grey’s Glamdring Sword. The story goes that it was found in a troll lair in Rhûdaur while Thorin Oakenshield was on a journey to Erebor. It was forged by the high Elves of the West and is magical. It shimmers with light when in the presence of orcs.

Windlass Studio’s fully functional bladed Assassins Creed Sword of Altair Replica is awesome, but what if you want more of a LARP style experience with your Sword of Altair?

That’s where Museum Replica’s Latex Sword of Altair Replica might be for you.

This is a fully licensed Assassins Creed replica based on the Sword of Altair seen in Assassin’s Creed I & II.

It features:

  • the iconic eagle-headed pommel with a winged crossguard
  • a brown suede wrapped, hard rubber handle
  • a full length of 38″
  • a blade length of 30-5⁄8″
  • a weight of 12 oz

Remember, this is not the high carbon steel version, it is a weapon made for LARP (Live Action Role Play) out of latex.

Now, you used to be able to get this via Sideshow Collectibles, but they’ve sold out. You can also currently find it on Ebay for a Buy It Now price of $96.99.

But the best price around at the moment is on Amazon where you can get it at the link below for $89.99:

Assassin s Creed Sword of Altair Latex (via Amazon, $89.99)

This is Windlass Studio’s excellent Assassins Creed Sword of Altair Prop Replica based on the video game of the same name.

I think this particular Sword of Altair is going to be a highly sought after collectible, especially once the Assassins Creed feature film is released. It’s not a limited edition, but it’s also getting harder and harder to find.

It’s a sleek weapon of the assassin, which is a fully functional prop replica, features:
  • a high carbon steel blade
  • an eagle-headed pommel and winged crossguard
  • a wooden scabbard covered in brown suede
  • a suede wrapped handle
  • an overall length of 38″ with a blade length of 30-5⁄8″ long, 1-3⁄8″ wide, 3⁄16″ thick
  • and a weight of 2 lbs/10 oz
  • manufactured by Windlass Steelcrafts (who have been producing high quality swords since 1943)

The best price on this I’ve found is via Entertainment Earth who have it for $179.99. However, if you want it at that price, or at all for that matter, you’ll have to hurry because they only have one left at the time of writing this post. The link you need is below:

Assassins Creed Sword of Altair Replica (via Entertainment Earth, $179.99)

Remember, this is not a latex LARP weapon. This is a fully functional blade!
