Windlass Studio’s fully functional bladed Assassins Creed Sword of Altair Replica is awesome, but what if you want more of a LARP style experience with your Sword of Altair?

That’s where Museum Replica’s Latex Sword of Altair Replica might be for you.

This is a fully licensed Assassins Creed replica based on the Sword of Altair seen in Assassin’s Creed I & II.

It features:

 • the iconic eagle-headed pommel with a winged crossguard
 • a brown suede wrapped, hard rubber handle
 • a full length of 38″
 • a blade length of 30-5⁄8″
 • a weight of 12 oz

Remember, this is not the high carbon steel version, it is a weapon made for LARP (Live Action Role Play) out of latex.

Now, you used to be able to get this via Sideshow Collectibles, but they’ve sold out. You can also currently find it on Ebay for a Buy It Now price of $96.99.

But the best price around at the moment is on Amazon where you can get it at the link below for $89.99:

Assassin s Creed Sword of Altair Latex (via Amazon, $89.99)

This is Windlass Studio’s excellent Assassins Creed Sword of Altair Prop Replica based on the video game of the same name.

I think this particular Sword of Altair is going to be a highly sought after collectible, especially once the Assassins Creed feature film is released. It’s not a limited edition, but it’s also getting harder and harder to find.

It’s a sleek weapon of the assassin, which is a fully functional prop replica, features:
 • a high carbon steel blade
 • an eagle-headed pommel and winged crossguard
 • a wooden scabbard covered in brown suede
 • a suede wrapped handle
 • an overall length of 38″ with a blade length of 30-5⁄8″ long, 1-3⁄8″ wide, 3⁄16″ thick
 • and a weight of 2 lbs/10 oz
 • manufactured by Windlass Steelcrafts (who have been producing high quality swords since 1943)

The best price on this I’ve found is via Entertainment Earth who have it for $179.99. However, if you want it at that price, or at all for that matter, you’ll have to hurry because they only have one left at the time of writing this post. The link you need is below:

Remember, this is not a latex LARP weapon. This is a fully functional blade!

The Legionnaire Bowie Knife isn’t the only Gil Hibben designed knife commissioned by Sylvester Stallone for the movie The Expendables 2

Stallone also had Hibben design the Toothpick Knife which you can now own yourself. Or at least, you can now preorder so that you can own it in January 2013 when it gets released.

The Expendables 2 Toothpick Knife Prop Replica is a full size prop replica measuring 17 1/2 inches in overall length.

It has an 11 7/8 inch long blade made out of high-quality stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish and solid black back.

The handle is constructed of black pakkawood and is accented with a mirror-finished guard and pommel.

The knife includes a classic leather belt sheath with stamped Hibben logo and certificate of authenticity.

Whether you’re a fan of the movie or not, these United Cutlery produced prop replica’s of Gil Hibben’s The Expendables 2 knives are cool as can be and quite nicely priced too. This one is a tad cheaper than the Legionnaire Bowie Knife if you get it from Entertainment Earth, who have it for $99.99. The link for that is below:

The Expendables 2 Toothpick Knife Prop Replica (via Entertainment Earth, $99.99)

The Toothpick Knife is also available on Ebay, though you’ll pay more than you will at Entertainment Earth:

The Expendables 2 Toothpick Knife (via Ebay, $145)

I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t like The Expendables 2 . But I’ll also be the first to admit that I do like this excellent Legionnaire Bowie Knife Prop Replica from the film.

And how could I not – it’s designed by master craftsman Gil Hibben.

The Expendables 2 Legionnaire Bowie Knife Prop Replica is a full scale (15-inch) prop replica knife, made out of high-quality stainless steel.

It features a 9 1/2-inch long blade with a mirror-polished finish.

The handle is constructed of black micarta and is accented with a mirror-finished, solid stainless steel guard and pommel.

It comes with a classic leather belt sheath with stamped Hibben logo and certificate of authenticity.

Gil Hibben has a history of designing knives for Sylvester Stallone to feature in his films, going back to the First Blood III Rambo Survival Bowie Knife. Stallone commissioned Gil to make several knives to use in The Expendables and The Expendables 2.

These will become available in January 2013, but you can preorder them now at the link below for $104.99.

The Expendables 2 Legionnaire Bowie Knife Prop Replica (via Entertainment Earth, $104.99)

If you’re asking yourself if Entertainment Earth have the best price, the answer is yes, as far as I can find. For example, this knife is already on Ebay at a price of $145. See for yourself:

If you love Xena: The Warrior Princess and you love replica fantasy weapons, this one’s gonna appeal to you.

It’s a rare, possibly Limited Edition Xena: The Warrior Princess Chakram Prop Replica that looks absolutely stunning. I say it is possibly a limited edition item because the seller hasn’t identified the manufacturer but from looking at it, it appears to be one of the 500 Limited Chakram’s produced by Pacific Renaissance Pictures. It’s hard to tell though, so if you want to buy it, I suggest shooting the seller an email to confirm. But you have to admit, it does look a lot like this:

The Chakram is a throwing weapon capable of ricocheting off objects and returning to the thrower. It is quite possibly the most iconic of all weapons in the hit series. You can read about the Chakram and its back story at the Hercules & Xena Wiki.

This particular Chakram prop replica is an awesome looking solid polished metal weapon based on the original weapon used by Lucy Lawless in season 1 of the series. It measures 9.5″ diameter and features Paua Shell inlays.

Note, however, that this is a prop replica. It’s not designed for use as a real weapon. It’s not sharp, and it’s not meant for role playing.

It is stated it was purchased brand new via The Time Capsule. It is also advertised as new. So I’m not sure if it’s used or new, but from the images it looks to be as new, at the very least. I also couldn’t find any record of Chakram’s via the Time Capsule (feel free to post any info on this that you might know in the comments).

It’s advertised with a Buy It Now price of $499.95. The link you need to check it out, contact the seller, and see more images, is below:

XENA: THE WARRIOR PRINCESS Chakram Prop Replica (on Ebay)

Here’s an awesome deal not to be overlooked.

Sideshow Collectibles have Museum Replica’s prop replica Nick Fury’s Electronic Needle Gun Prop Replica on sale for a whopping 50% discount.

I know this to be true because I’ve previously posted about the Needle Gun here and included the original price of $199.99. You can get it for $99.99!

This prop replica of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Needle Gun is made from aluminium and includes special effects light and sound features.

It also comes complete with a polished hardwood display case with custom etched glass top.

Backstory (via Sideshow Collectibles)

S.H.I.E.L.D. (Supreme Headquarters International Espionage Law-enforcement Division) was formed in the 1960’s to counter the technological world threat posed by the radical organization, HYDRA. In the late 90’s, due to the mounting danger of terrorism worldwide, the organization decided to change the acronym of the agency to (Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate). Nick Fury and his team of super agents battle these forces and keep the peace throughout the free world.

The Nick Fury Electronic Needle Gun Prop Replica is pretty damn cool but at $99.99 it’s a pure bargain.

If you’re keen to lay your hands on a STAR TREK VI Klingon Beak Nose Disruptor you’ve probably found it pretty hard to do. Roddenberry’s Klingon Beak Nose Disruptor is now sold out from most sources, though Secret Compass Collectibles still have one in stock (as at the timing of this post) for a price of $279.95 (not bad, considering the original price was $299).

But if a little less expenditure is your thing, say in the area of $50 or so, you might want to check out Diamond Select’s new Klingon Beak Nose Disruptor.

Sure, it’s not a hand painted resin prop replica like Roddenberry’s version, but it is still pretty cool looking. It’s also 1:1 scale and designed for role play which, to be fair, you wouldn’t want to do with Roddenberry’s Disruptor. It also has electronic sounds and lights to go with the role play experience.

You can pre-order these right now.

The best price I’ve found is via Entertainment Earth, with Amazon having them listed only slightly dearer. The links you need are below:

Star Trek Klingon Disruptor Gun Prop Replica (Diamond Select) via Entertainment Earth $49.99

Star Trek Klingon Disruptor Gun Prop Replica (Diamond Select) via Amazon $54.99

Okay, I know this replica of the Jason Voorhees Hockey Mask from FRIDAY THE 13TH isn’t a weapon (unless you want to think of it as a weapon of fear), but after posting NECA’s FRIDAY THE 13TH Machete Prop Replica I felt compelled to post this little add on replica. After all, you still want to run around the street scaring your neighbors, right?

Like NECA’s machete, this mask is made from the actual prop (from the 2009 FRIDAY THE 13TH movie, that is). It comes complete with worn scratch marks and has eye and nose openings for easy breathing. There are smaller decorative holes along the forehead, sides, and mouth. There are also three red decorative marks on the forehead and cheeks.

While the machete is designed as a display piece only (though it’s also perfect as a mean looking costume addition), Jason’s mask actually comes with an elastic strap because it is designed to be worn.

NECA advertise this mask as something to stalk the children in their sleep with, but I wouldn’t recommend that unless you enjoy spending nights with actual psycho’s while cooling your heels behind bars. But that said, I also wouldn’t want to constrain your creativity, so I say buy the machete and the mask and have at ‘em!

Get it via Amazon at the link below (who have only a few left at the time of posting this):

Neca Toys FRIDAY THE 13TH Jason Mask Prop Replica – $44.99

But if you’re fast, you can get a perfect condition second hand one on Ebay via an auction. Starting bid is only $35, so you might snap it up cheaper than Amazon’s price. Link to the Ebay auction is below:

NECA FRIDAY THE 13TH Jason Mask Prop Replica Auction on Ebay

So you don’t want to wait until Halloween next year to scare the crap out of your neighbors? Then try wandering around with this prop replica of Jason Voorhees’ Machete from the 2009 film FRIDAY THE 13TH. That ought to do it.

This bad boy measures 3 feet and is constructed from metal and wood.

It’s another fine replica movie weapon from NECA (National Entertainment Collectibles Assocation) who have spared no expense on recreating the actual weight and feel of Voorhees’ weapon from the popular horror film.

It is cast from a mold of the original prop used in FRIDAY THE 13TH (2009).

You’ll look scary and dangerous but you won’t actually be that dangerous; this machete replica is not a toy. It also isn’t sharpened (the blade is blunt) and, more to the point, it’s not made for real use. That’s right – unfortunately this will let you down if you’re an aspiring undead killer because it’s a machete prop replica made for display purposes only. But it still looks awesome, right?!

I’ve noticed these have been selling out around town pretty fast and seem to range a fair bit in price, so you’ll probably want to hurry if you want one at a decent price.

As of this post, there’s just one left at Entertainment Earth and it’s the cheapest one I could find. The link you need for that is below:

Friday the 13th Machete Replica (last one at Entertainment Earth – $139.99)

There’s one on Ebay with a Buy It Now price of $149.99, which is also pretty good. Link for that is below (note: there’s only 1 available there too):

FRIDAY THE 13TH Machete Prop Replica on Ebay

There are only four left at Amazon. Not as cheap as EE’s or the one on Ebay, but still not a bad price. The link you need for those are below:

Friday The 13th (2009) – Jason’s Machete Replica (on Amazon – $169.99)

NECA (National Entertainment Collectibles Assocation) are known for producing high quality movie prop replicas and this ROBOCOP Auto-9 replica is no exception.

This one is available BRAND NEW for a single Buy It Now Price of $149.95 (which as far as I can see has always been the standard price, just as it went for in this auction). But what’s cool is it’s a Limited Edition item of only 1,500 (the seller hasn’t mentioned that little bit of awesome information, so consider yourself in the know).

Robocop’s sidearm is made of resin and measures 14 inches long and is made of resin.

Comes mounted in a dedicated shadow box.

Note that this baby doesn’t have any moving parts. Yeah I know, it’s not real. But then neither is Robocop, so there’s that. But it’s real enough to hold in your hand and get an idea of what it would be like to say, “It’s your move, Creep.”

Here’s a nifty little video of an unboxing of one of these. I recommend turning the sound down otherwise within a few seconds you’ll be wishing your Auto-9 replica was real enough to shoot yourself. Check it out:
